Lord, lately I've had to do
A lot of patching up with you.
So many ways, I've let You down
Causing You Lord, to frown.

You gave me the breath of life
Many times I had tried to take that away,
Yet, You sat there with tears saying,
"No, not leaving this world, today."

"I have plans for you still today.
If you'll just follow me,
I will definitely lead the way
A bright future you'll see."

"The words I put in your mouth
You write down in ink.
To help someone that's troubled,
Thinking life just stinks."

"Just stay close to My side,
I'll help you one day at a time, too.
Even if it's second by second.
These problems you'll get through."
