Before God Almighty

Before God Almighty,
I will someday stand
Opening up the Book
That is in His hand

I fall to my knees
Begging to enter in
I feel very scared
Heart aches deep within

I remember those times
I had done so wrong
Even listened to
All those evil songs

I also asked to be forgiven
That day sins were removed
How my heart was clean
A place in heaven was reserved

God said, Mel, stand up
On your two feet I gave you
Here's the Book of Life
It's clean so Heavens Gate's go through

I jump up and shout
Began to sing a new tune
My voice was now perfect
I'd see Grandma and Dave soon

Then I awoke and realized
It was just a dream
Still have a desire though
To be on God Almighty's Team
