Stars HollowA Poem by Kelly A. BrownI wish I lived inside the TV screen.I wish I lived in Stars Hollow the magical loving place riddled with innocence buried deep within Conneticut not more than a few miles wide and long I wish I lived in the place I see on TV at 11 AM on weekdays where there is never a shortage of wit or tears or heart. I wish I went to Yale and could eat omelettes at Luke's Diner and I wish I had a boyfriend like Luke who could build me a Hoopah out of love hope and friendship and I wish I had a daughter who I loved and loved me back no matter which way the wind blows who I could bury my head into and stuff my face with on weekends and I wish my parents were rich and I wish my parents didn't care so much about me and I just wish I lived in Stars Hollow inside my TV screen.
I am convinced the grass is always greener on the other side.
I could create my own Stars Hollow here on the Jersey Shore, but that would require a lot of actors.
