Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by Kelly A. Brown

Why am I running scared

in fear

lonely

tortured

a martyr of

Nothing,

when they all have the Autism--

the pain and heartache they must feel

and the loans and the money and the

patience, for my possibilties

are

endless, aren't they?

They have little to no future ahead of them, but

I have the World in the

palm of my hands, yet I do this awful stuff

to myself and hurt myself like I am

nothing at all.

Maybe I am nothing

at all.
