Sophomore Slump

Sophomore Slump

A Poem by CJ

Sophomore Slump
.Realization.
She wakes up.
Feeling the same way she did yesterday:
hopeless,
worthless,
dug down,
six feet under.
She walks around,
over-sensitive,
not wanting to react.
She's just there.
She can't do anything
or say anything to change
the way she feels.
All she can do,
is write,
pen to paper,
let it flow out,
and relieve her.
Nothing works.

About
Started out a happy-go-lucky writer who just wanted to embrace all of life in writing. Turns out that it is more painful than I imagined. Tough times turn into honest writing. I never delete a piece f.. more..
