Because You’re There Lights spinning, Music everywhere, You took me to the fair. But where are you? You are nowhere to be seen In this sea of people. I need you. My knees give way, I fall to the ground. People surround, You’re not there. BLACKNESS I wake up, And you’re there, By my side in this white room. Monitors beep, Doctors run frantically, Who knows if I’ll die. But everything is alright, Because you’re there. © 2008 CJ |
