The One Laying Under the StarsA Poem by CJ
The One Laying Under the Stars She is the girl, People might think of as weird, We all know, That you just have to know her, To know that she would be the one, Laying under the stars, Just gazing at their beauty, While everyone else is around the fire, Warming up. She is fun, She sees ways different than others, More creative. Some say she’s strange, She takes it as a complement. If she is strange to them, That just means that she is different than them. She says, “You laugh at me because I’m different, I laugh at you because you’re all the same.” She has a strong point. Who wants to be the same, When you can be different, And completely yourself? © 2008 CJ |
