The PuppyA Poem by CJ
The Puppy With bright eyes, Prancing up to you, A small bark, Then the eyes take effect. So deeply loving, Persuasive, Caring, His eyes stare up at you. There’s no resisting once his eyes turn like this. He sits and pouts. Raises a paw. You sit for less than a minute. He looks so cute, You can’t say no, Not now. You get up, Relinquishing your stubbornness, To go play fetch. He has won this time. © 2008 CJReviews
