Of Anger, Betrayal and HurtingA Poem by Cotton BallWhen some one breaks your trust, there's a feeling of anger, then betrayal and ultimately you are hurt.Anger: Something that you feel every time you get hurt. Some times you don’t notice it. But it is a feeling that pulses through your blood like the beat of a rave song. Making you want to jump, to move it out. Betrayal: It’s the thing that always comes into your mind with the hurt of a friend. It’s something you can’t explain. I can imagine, though, that it’s like stabbing a knife through your heart faster than light and then slowly, slower than the seconds going by, pulling it out. Pulling it out; in your heart a gaping hole. Hurting: The ache of hurting shows the most. It grips you next to betrayal, but once betrayal is cleared the hurt still stays. It lasts longer then that hole in your chest, for the hole shall close. This, this enters your blood stream, constantly cycling through. Soon it is forgotten. It is there, silently running through you, waiting to clot. © 2010 Cotton BallAuthor's Note
