There are things I’ve done

Not serious nor fun

Working late to halt the gate

At this rate my fate

Will be to wait, disintegrate

Hate the ending that is near

Can you see my fear?

Hold back a tear

Raise a glass for one last cheer

Close your eyes tight and disappear
