Catching A Cured Disease

There is no point to this story

            Unable to get the proper authorization to enter Mike stood and stared as the door turned to wall. As his hopes began to diminish a light caught his eyes. A glow from behind left him stunned. A man came running down the hall. No ordinary man this man had become a figure he had come to worship in the past few weeks. Mike ran towards Randy, as Randy approached Mike breathed an ignorant sigh of relief. Randy reached into his pocket and drew a silver knife; raising the knife overhead he brought it down tangent towards Mike’s body.

          As the weather outside turned from clear skies to cloudy a plea for forgiveness was released by Mike’s tongue. But it was too late Mike was now paying for his loyalty with his life. Mike was a technology specialist who trusted to quickly and for someone who had never intentionally harmed a soul was now dyeing a horrible death. A fantasy world was where he spent most of his time, now as he faded he hoped the afterlife would be just that. As his eyes closed he realized the inverse was true of what he had been told about this assignment. Following the light he now saw, Mike slipped into a world to which only people who had been gripped by death's cold hand could describe.

Gruesome. There's no point to the story? What, just thoughts running around in your head? It was deep I'll give you that. Sometimes this stuff goes over my head and makes me feel as old as I am.
