Into The Rabbit-HoleA Poem by Cory ScottFun Alice in Wonderland inspired poem
Akin to Alice fleeing from her woes
It seems you've stumbled upon a rabbit hole Worry not, at the brim Take a moment then jump right in And waste not a second trying to find The hare you've heard of In stories and rhymes For it is like you Lost in time And space down here An inane thing Where to fall is to float And to float is to bring You neither nearer nor further To an end So trust not in your senses To seek a way out As the torn seams of reality Will leave you reeling with doubt Instead ignore your madness And rely on ambition Perhaps in due time You'll see an end to this vision And find yourself alit In an iridescent wonderland So won't you rest And have some tea And enjoy this world With hearty glee
