The Ghost Who Wept

The Ghost Who Wept

A Poem by Cory Scott
"

Poem about a lonely spirit.

"
An Apparition Ceaselessly Wandering
Through a World So Crowded
Begrudged To Reside Amongst The Multitude of People
Surrounded But Forlorn
An Imperceptible Anomaly

Yelling, Mewling Inefficaciously
Finding Nothing But Deaf Ears
And Eyes That Are Blind

Futile Attempts To Glean Recognition
To Adjoin, To Embrace Another
A Bleak Incorporeality Merely Passing Through
Eliciting Only Brief Palpitations
As an Expeditious Frigidness Comes Upon Them

You Yearn To Surmount This Limbo
Yet Feeling Incomplete, You Linger
May You One Day Procure Solace and Contentment
Lonesome Ghost Who Weeps
