I Will

For the longest time I didn't know the word patience. Here recently I've found a really good reason to have patience though, so I wrote this.

I will wait forever
Through day and through night
Whether the skies are stormy
Or the sun's shining bright

I will always be here
Through thick and through thin
I'll walk with you through all
Even your struggles within

I will be your friend
And help guide you through life
Through your feelings of joy
Or your feelings of strife

I will be that shoulder
That you can lean on and cry
The one you can talk to
And can always stand by

However long it may take
My mind's set and stone
I will be that lucky guy
Who can call you his own
