Phantom of my Past

Sometimes the unwanted people from your past come back to haunt your dreams...

Somethings unresolved
within my clouded mind.
Pulling at my heart strings
confusing all I've done.
I've left you in my past
but you invade my dreams.
Why do I get the feeling that
somethings unsettled between us?
It's a bother to have
you on my mind.
I'd rather leave you as a
closed book in my life.
Ah, this feeling however
will not subside, and so I'm
haunted by an unwanted
phantom.

Sometimes a past love does come back to haunt us for a reason. I feel often to put it to rest, to overcome the pain that may dwell in the depths of our psyche.

I to, as have we all been haunted by these ghosts. I fear it is a part of life, but more so it may be their spirit reaching out to us, urging us to move on.

As I remember, your writing is still all inspiring. Well done...
