My Second Love, AutumnA Poem by Ebb and FlowI have an affinity for Autumn and the wind, but this is for Autumn.
My love he comes but once a year,
his dazzling face clears my fear. His hair is laden with his love, the love he wields falls from above. We walk a path of red delight, into the sun that shines so bright. His hair, crimson gold on fire, he is all that I can admire. His beauty holds no human bounds, his essence is all that surrounds. Up in the trees and on the ground, everywhere you look he is found. Red, gold and orange his true joy, his fascination like a boy. His brilliance fills my vision, our love is like a collision. With me he cannot stay for long, oh, how my love for him is wrong. © 2010 Ebb and FlowAuthor's Note
