Sands of Time

Written some years ago in a time of my life when things were starting to get good in my life.

Our love has been written upon the sands of time,

To never be broken even by a simple rhyme.

We shall share our lives to never be broken,

it's like we sleep never disturbed or woken.

in each others arms we shall stay for life,

And together we may end any strife.

Author's Note

This poem at this moment in time is under going some changes but it's a process and this is up here for now for some ideas. I plan o changing some of the lines and fixing the rhyme. I also hate this piece.

You shouldn't hate this piece! It's wonderful! I love the reference to sand, because it's one of my favorite substances. Sand and Mist. Woo... But it's a lovely poem! I understand that you want to change it, because I want to change half of mine, but from the reader's perspective, it's fine!
