Spirit

Spirit

A Poem by Ebb and Flow

So false this hope that I fell back to earth,
so true this lie that has broken my spirit.
From dawn until dusk I hide in the shadows
watching, waiting.
I wish that my spirit mend and come back to free me.
Time and space cease to exist, as black hours adorn my chained spirit.
Holding on too tightly I wish not to let go, but I must.

A deep thought for sure and a deep fear losing ones soul

Beautiful and flowing. My only critique is that the word "spirit" began to feel overused. Consider using a synonym in some places such as heart, soul, etc. Other than that, it's wonderful! Good job! :D
