Certain Kind of Sadness

This is based of the quote/saying. This still needs some work.

You get addicted to a
certain kind of sadness.
It consumes you
unwilling to break it's hold.
Your habits are the same and
you just can't seem to quit.
You try and try to be happy,
but the effect doesn't last.
It's just a temporary fix,
only if that were true.
Sorrows replaced your heart
with a void of
emptiness that
seems to stretch on forever.
