On the Brink

On the Brink

A Poem by Ebb and Flow

Beautiful words
fractured,
shattered,
scattered about.

Stanzas broken
in all the
wrong places.
My muse
has flown the coup
and left me
Alone.

Alone
with thoughts unseen
written in scars
upon my skin.
Where have you flown
when all my worlds
are burning?

The abyss looms,
before a broken frame
whose porcelain visage
holds a scene of silent sorrow.

The untold brink before me
beckons with vicious
temptations.
Knowing the desire
and darkness
within my frozen
heart;
Do
I
Dare
to
Leap?

I like the form for it felt like an abyss and one falling into it. The poem was good too.....Bravo...........
