Chapter 1

Chapter 1

A Story by Destiny
"

This is something I've been working on, for a while now.

"
He stood there; motionless, eyes burning a hole through my soul.
The expression on his face was so cold, fearful an a chill was sent
down my spine.
'What’s wrong" I asked, feeling anxious.
"There's something. . . “Slowly a deep breath is taken.
"There’s something that has to be said"
"Then tell me" I demanded.
"Well I didn't want it to come to this, but there's no other choice"His eyes drifted to the ground, then back to me.
"I'm leaving"
"Leaving?" I was confused.
"I'm leaving Ever Town" Unexpected? Yes, it was. I wasn't sure, whether to cry or to become angry, and I really
don't want to know where exactly he's headed.
So instead I managed to ask
"When are you coming back?"

A moment of silence occurred.
He then finally spoke...
"Never"
Suddenly my body became very weak, tears were crawling down the flesho
f my cheeks, and my breathing became complicated.
"W-why" I cried. He walked towards me, the touch of his
hand under my chin felt heart-warming, our eyes were locked while hebrushed away the fresh tears.
"I do apologize" He whispers softly.
"I just don't understand"
"I know you don't but it's for the best, there's just
things in life that certain people shouldn't know about, I am truly sorry"
There has always been something hidden behind those dark coal eyes of his, but never did quite figure out what it was. His warm tenderness lips were gently pressed against my forehead, my eyes
closed only to focus each and last touch of him before he leaves. As his lips removed themselves, I opened my eyes only to see him walking away into the darkness.
"But.....I .... I love you" He stopped, turned slowly to
look at me, I could see the pain in his eyes that this was something he didn't want, neither do I.
I'm sorry but this is goodbye" Vanishing In thin air.
What did he mean by "There's no other choice" Did he not see the pain he had caused me? My body laid on the soil of the Earth, it felt as If someone shot me, through the chest, bullet through the heart, leaving the broken pieces behind. The scars will always remind that the past was real. I am considered a ghost, tracking down the man whom torn my heart apart.
