the war on Ukraine reminds me

of the time my brother tried to drown 

kittens in a rain barrel

full

 from the passing storm

Saved

 promptly by my sisters

if you back a dog into a corner with a stick

it will eventually bite.

If Atlantis was a mother civilization

then the meek will indeed inherit

why did it sink?

he says that "you've- been chosen

 for the new America."

 when the time comes

and you have been spared

should God close his window blinds

on this world

you will still want to be that allure

we stare at each other 

with nothing to say

 out loud

"and then I will hug your neck, 

and we shall paint this house

and till our sky gardens

so that the dreams

Thank goodness for the sisters of the world who try to create harmony while the boys like to play at warfare. Putin has no heart, he kills the innocent too in his fight in Ukraine. Babies, children, pregnant women, old people they have all become targets. He has committed war crimes and I sincerely hope justice prevails. In the meantime another day starts and I wonder when the war will end.

I'm not sure it will end, Russia vehemently does not want Nato on the doorstep, Ukraine with the US and Nato support wants to become part of Nato, which would put Russia in a precarious position of vulnerability. Ukraine refusing to remain a neutral is an act of war in Putins eyes. He does not want that port to fall into us or Nato territory, its simple, they backed the dog into a corner and he's a dog, he's gonna bite.

not to mention the nuclear facilities in Ukraine, he certainly doesn't want US or Nato to have free access

I'm afraid it will also, they are trying to disguise it as a bid for democracy, a valiant fight, but Biden, Clinton have been antagonizing Putin over here, Biden golfing in Ukraine long before, Bidens kid getting "his kickback checks " long long, long before this war, I was not at all surprised that Putin attacked. Provocation, he's been poked for years now the wasps are tired of having the nest poked and he's swarming to show his might, probably will go nuclear

I hope there are sisters to save the people of that country....such sadness with what is happening...Putin, the bad brother, the evil brother.
Yes, the Will and Rock connection....representative of the short tempers and violent reactions that we have with each other these days...so much stress...
not enough allure.
maybe best to not say anything at all....just touch...we have not had that for so long we are
we lost the garden of peace...it needs to be built first before we can build that house in which we all can live.
