Ode of Hellebore

Ode of Hellebore

A Poem by Corset

Looking through your glass gaze
glazed as dew frost on Hellebore
all the downcast floral faces;
thespians in late winter bloom,
already even closer than they
to the bitter cold truth,
there is just no substitute
 for the chalice
of snow
to warm winter sun.

Tragic to lose Sean Connery....on the news they mentioned all of his films except his best...Finding Forrester...

I like the flowers being thespians here...we are in a bitter cold truth right now.
and that warm winter sun fools us....
it is not getting any warmer...and we aren't getting any safer.
so much packed into this short piece...I really like the alliteration as well....
good stuff, Corset,
j.

Thank you Jacob, handsome all the way to 90 , wonderful actor 9 i'm going to miss
The season of change, the flowers hang their heads sobbing for glory days of summer. I’m sad too. Thespian in late winter faded bloom reflected the news of the death of Sean Connery. Touching sadly...
