Time in Thistle DownsA Poem by CorsetHappy Valentines to all those lonely hearts out there today. There are no clocks in heaven. You could peel the red thistles from my eyes like the fibrous outer skin of a forbidden fruit. The sky would be silken silvery blue should I splay my fingers to the moon awaiting a cyber link up. My touch- would turn you to bone dreams charcoal abundant diamond studded 1.2 light years away from the maw of the blackest halo There- would be no time for goodbyes on the other side of a black hole There- is no time at all, time would not exist where we are, unlike the carousal thud of my heart, There are no clocks in Heaven. Heaven does not tick. © 2013 CorsetAuthor's NoteReviews
