You knew the truthA Poem by Corrupted RoseGetting you to understand was never an easy task to take on...
You really forced me to dig inside of something I thought was already fixed, but it never was. For many years I tapped together the pain, the sorrow, the loneliness, and the anger and tried to lock it away. But you made me face the ugly truth; that I was still not okay. You asked me... "How can I understand you when you don't even understand yourself?" You were right... I couldn't keep fooling people with the lies I'd tell them so they would think I was someone else, but in reality I'm not that person that I portrayed and so... I don't know who I am; I do not understand myself. I was trying to get you to understand a story that I had written and directed in my demented brain, but before I could read you the script of lies you already knew the truth... © 2014 Corrupted Rose
