How Someone Saved My Life

I never wanted to be a part of a company that would try to kill me. There are always going to be those people who are fortunate enough to be saviors from the wicked ways of the world. I didn't think that I was in a position to be considered an issue amongst the people in this corporation. I want very badly to say that I was a woman of importance in this office, but I was merely a woman of disloyalty and I liked it.
I never knew I had a reason for him to save me. I didn't know what I was getting into when I met for drinks Friday nights with a young board member of Enclaves Corporation. I just knew that his handsome body and career accomplishments were attractive and being his secretary made it easy. It wasn't like he was married and a father of children. I made sure I wasn't going to break the rules with that, I never wanted to be "that woman."
Nonetheless, I went for a walk one evening only to have a canvas bag thrown over my face. A voice was familiar, begging for my release, it was him. The board member I spent my Friday nights with. I never thought I would get a canvas bag over my face before getting the big rock on my finger. But nonetheless, here I was waiting for my skin to be sliced off little by little. I was becoming a pervert to the thoughts of what these psychopaths were thinking of doing to me.
Frank must of left with the villainous men because the chains around my limbs were the only noise that was left. I was shaking enough to have a constant clinging sound that brought the enemy to slap me around after a few minutes. It felt like a decade of pain thrown into a small 5 minutes time. But from what I was told, I was gone the next three days he'd hit me so hard.
I woke up in a large room with gold trim walls and a sun glimmering off the white of the room. It was too good to be true as they say, but it was. How did I come to a place so beautiful after having my face beat in a few days before. I laid my head back down because I didn't want there to be a catch. I closed my eyes, but I jumped when I felt a body crawl on top of me.
"Baby, are you okay?" he said. I opened my eyes to see the greaser looking at my destroyed face. I didn't know if I should kiss him, resist him, kick him or try to escape. There were too many emotions and questions flowing through my mind as he crawled under the covers fully dressed in a suit, unharmed by the foul creatures that he associated with days before.
"Baby," he repeated. "I am so sorry. You don't have to talk to me. Just know that you're safe now... go back to sleep!" He stroked my bruises gently on my face as I just lie there. I was frozen.
I finally ignored the pain as I asked, "What happened Frank?"
He wouldn't tell me, he just hugged me. I just wanted to get away, and I saw there was a change of clothes for me in a chair. I was able to leave whenever I wanted, I could feel his warmth on my body like I once did Friday nights. But I didn't feel safe this time.
I crawled out as he watched me. He smiled and said, "I am glad you're safe, I have a car waiting outside to take you home."
