Alone Together

Alone Together

A Poem by C.J.H.
"

2014

"
I'm all alone as I gather stone,
still I'll build this home.
I want to know, when I see snow,
where does the summer go?
We can hide below the sudden glow,
watch as the darkness grows.
You share in sorrows I wish to borrow,
we'll start again tomorrow.
I'll lift the lows and take the blows,
while you wait to follow.

I like how you make the words move. Create thoughts, questions and possibilities with your words.
