Standard of Living

A Poem by C.J.H.
"

"

The distance of my shadows,
is deep enough to die, or rest,
or tell me who to follow.
Reflection in the hallows
left bluffing wise, you knew best,
the soul is just too shallow.

If I left you there, should I stay?
Muddled hands, broken knees,
if life was fair would you pray?
In inches I stare, lost for days.
The subtle plans spoke of peace,
but unaware of cost's complaints.

Introverted with too much to say. Practicing with sitting down at the keyboard. In general my writings appear instantaneously. As I go through my journals, I may post some. However; sad, happy, .. more..
