I used to write philosophical essays for fun now and then, between 400 and 800 words. This is more like a rant of getting things down to transform later.

Hello.

Well, that seems an appropriate place to start. Trying to pick up where I left off...which I'm not sure of at all. Did I leave off anywhere? All I know was I stopped making time in my life for writing. I had things that needed to get done, things that were more important. So I thought, but I was miserable. An old teacher of mine called it the "Writing Monster", that there are those who have it within them, and no matter where they are, and what they do with their lives, they will be driven to write. Now here I am, finally using this website for the first time since I got on it months ago. Yet, I don't know what to write. It's like the overload of things I could write, and the expanse of time I haven't written in leaves me clogged and empty at the same time. So I want to get back to writing, maybe an old story that never took off, or one that got stopped midway...maybe fine tuning some finished pieces...I just don't know. I'll try transplanting somethings from my computer straight to here, maybe the process will help me add news pieces to them, make them better. It's certainly worth a shot.

So, thank you for being here to help me through this.

It really does, and I used to know just how to combat it, but now...well, I'm far too rusty to remember.

Dont worry, it will come back, just dig deep. Unearth those emotions that cause your blood to boil, your heart to race, your mind to swirl. Then just do what I like to call "word vomit" and deal with the details later :)

I like it.Some of my older works were like that, little rants on a topic that formed tangents far deeper than the original topic.

I understand. Just dont try to force it, or else you will end up with a piece lacking emotion and nobody likes that.
