Angel

Angel

A Poem by Corbin Driver
"

This is a fiction poem in the eyes of someone who saw an angel.

"
I once saw an angel.
Beautiful beyond anyone's imagination.
It's wings were beautiful
and it's halo was bright.
It was playing a song on a harp
that sounded magical to the ear.
I realized that the song meant something,
but I could not figure it out.
Not long after the angel was gone,
I could still remember them in my thoughts.

I felt like this when I heard my Greek friend sing. I didn't know the words she sang, but it some how was sad.

Incredible! Fantasy and reality are not too far from each other. I'd like it it was longer and maybe a bit more descriptive, but that's fine. This is a good poem. :)
