Why her?

Why her?

A Poem by Cora Lena Levan

She smiles so shyly.
She has this sweet demeanor.
She speaks to him coyly.
So attractive.
So pure.

Is this real?
Is this really who she is?
Does she lie with her eyes?
Does she lie with her smile?
Does she lie with her beauty?

Another pretty face,
Another thin waist.
Another set of pouty lips,
Another set of curvy hips.

He falls for them.
He falls for her lies.
He falls for her.
Those lips, those hips, those eyes.
Why her?
Why believe her lies?
