You, Intoxicating

You, Intoxicating

A Poem by Mary

Lips pressed firm

against the

smooth, hardness of

your collar bone

and my

lips

pressed hard against

your neck

lingering a moment

to

inhale your scent

your

sharp, strong

encompassing

scent

these lips against your

mouth

to taste the flavor of

you

the intoxincating

flavor of you

:]
This is great.

"smooth, hardness of
your collar bone"

Those two lines speak the loudest to me, and I can just picture the moment in my minds eye. Great job!

Much of my poetry is about addiction. It played a huge, if not the only, role for many years of my life. I'm now a recovering addict, clean for over a year. I'm also recovering from self-mutilation, w.. more..
