Like No Other

Like No Other

A Poem by Mary

Tonight, your artist's hands upon me

Seeking, drinking me in with a sense of urgency

That I return to you with my

Artist's hands, feeling the peaks and valleys

of your body, my mouth, teeth biting

Gently tasing your sweat, your skin

And oh!

I can remember the silky wet feel

Of your face against mine, pressing

(I need you, I need you now)

Feeling like I need you forever

For there can never, will never

be any other

Like you

And the ties that bind us together

were forged, it feels like, in the fires

of lives long past

Repeating, sometimes retreating

and rolling back again

Like the sea to the shore

In low tide and high

And if only I

            The shore

Could just hold you

            The sea

To that high tide

close to me

I would not feel

this sense of

urgency

This is amazing.. Filled with so much feeling, and completely honest.
"And if only I
The shore
Could just hold you
The sea
To that high tide
close to me
I would not feel
this sense of
urgency"

Those lines pull at me so strongly.
GREAT JOB!!!
