Chapter 4

Max lifts his head and leans it on his hand. “I didn’t remember that being part of the lesson plan. But if you want me to use my powers on you too then here.”

Max disappears and reappears in front of Mr. Sparks then grabs his arm. Nothing happens and Max lets go of his arm. Then we notice it, Mr. Spark is unconscious. He falls over and lays there. Max whistles and says.

“Hmm, he should be fine…. in a couple of days. Wait what? Oh, Mr. Spark? You want us to go outside? Oh really? What a great teacher.”

Max walks towards the door that leads to the outside P.T area. The people who were trying to kill themselves or hated this class followed him outside and thanked Mr. Spark while chuckling. Soon the whole class was outside playing with soccer balls, footballs and jumping around the obstacle course. We find Max laying on a bench. As we walk towards him, James ask.

“What did he do to Mr. Spark?”

“He overloaded Mr. Spark with energy causing his organ to overuse themselves and eventually made him lose consciousness. The energy will make him hyperactive for a while. Probably for a few days like Max said.” Leo answers the question. “You think he’ll get away clean?”

   “He’ll probably be fine until Mr. Spark returns,” I say.

    The next morning comes, I think today isn’t my day.*sigh* Aww s**t, it’s late, better hurry before the professor gets pissed at me. S**t, I’m almost there, just five more minutes left until class starts. As I finally reach the class I see them.

My friends were standing there waiting for me to get into class and once I reach them we walk in the class. We find our seats and the professor gets our attention. He starts explaining what the lesson plan for the day is. Leo was sitting near us, but he didn’t care, he was listening to music. The professor gave up on trying to get Leo to listen a day ago.

“Alright students, today we have a field trip. We are going there for a week so pack enough to live for a week. Any questions?”

As the professor says that the door flies across the room broken away from its hinges. Someone appears in the doorway.

        “I do. Can I come with? My other classes have an incompetent teacher who can't even do quick math (2+2 is 4, minus 1 is 3. Quick math).” The mystery person reveals himself by taking his hood off. It's Max.

        “I’ll have to ask for permission to take y-.”

         “Nah Nah Nah, no need. Trust me they want me gone.” He says deviously.

“Okay. Anyone else has a question?” The professor asks afraid to know what the infamous student did to the teachers.

“Me me me! Is there a reason why we are going there?” One of the students ask.

    “Yes there is a reason it is; I don’t know the reason though, the principal told me about the trip this morning. So you guys can go back to your dorms to pack up and get some rest to wake up early tomorrow. Or don't pack up and stay up like the idiots half of you are.” He says.

       The rest of the day was uneventful and all I did was pack things. Morning came soon enough and everyone was waiting outside with their luggage. Max and Leo are chatting with some of the classmates while we were double checking if we had everything.

       The bus came eventually and picked us up. We had assigned seats for whatever reason. I was lucky enough to get a seat to myself, who knows how long we are going to be on the bus. Eliza and James were a few seats behind. Christopher who was a chaperone was in the front with the other chaperones.
