Romantic RomanceA Poem by Anelec L'lehcor H'Tims
moonlit walks, candle light dinners.
a romantic romance. a stroll down a country lane. hand in hand. bundled against the hard brisk air. the smallest talk as to keep the wind from stealing our words. we walk. step by step. slowly, pointedly, peacefully. elongating our moment together. all after a very serene table set for two. fine wine in the ice pail. an silk ivory table cloth, dusted ever so lightly white and red rose petals, set with pristine crystal and glimmering silver. the food was exquisite but the gesture finer yet. we were serenaded with soft, yet lively music, much like our outbursts of chatter. the walk ended under the covers of the stars. we sat in the grass (on a plush blanket) beneath the tree and searched for constellations. we made stories about the stars, the night sky, the cool air, our stories. we talked ourselves into a deep chasm of peace and stillness. all that could be heard was the faint whirring of our minds, the pattering of our hearts, the hum of the wind, and the lullaby of nature. There ended our first night of romantic romance. © 2011 Anelec L'lehcor H'Tims |
