Dock viewA Poem by Contents UnknownI was sitting at a public dock at night a little while back staring up at the sky and wrote a poem about my surroundings, this is that poemA lovely overcast sky gentle enough for the moon to shine through and illuminate the clouds, Soft waves cross with difference in height, Shorter than an egg with small ribbons of light, Shining across to reach me from here I can hear the loon’s cry, As the moon watches from the sky, A dock rattles although there is no wind, It is due to waves striking it as they roll in,© 2016 Contents Unknown |
