Life delight

Life delight

A Poem by Constantine
"

Another from an old collection of my poems.

"

Full of delight and satisfaction promises to be this day

When it is in fact a brake and soundless way

Of letting your heart betray.

In the meaning of the sun and the purity of the sky

I try to tell my self goodbye

And tell another lie.

All the motors of this earth have been shut down

The God they promised me has left this town

Because he found another crown.

In fact I will satisfy my need for more

By watching all the world's gore

I think I feel inside a little sore.
