The Grim Reaper
The lonely little man walks the streets of town carrying tiny white cards that behold the name of another who has left this world to go to wherever it is that we all go when we are no longer a part of this Earthly existence. He is the bearer of bad news carrying the Death Notes, family and friends being reduced to a tiny 4 x 6 piece of cardboard. He walks east and west entering each door of each business that will open to place upon the desks and counters the notifications that inform the world another has passed. The doors that do not open are graced with the cards placed into the cracks to be found later when the lucky person with the key comes to find that Terry has paid them a visit. The job must be hard as the sight of him gives us all a chill. Will that card hold the name and loved ones of someone that I know or have known in the past? He walks alone, bad news is his job. I wonder who will deliver the notice for the Grim Reaper?????

Thank you for reading.
Really good piece;) Unfortunately Death is part of being born. Someone has to do it while hoping that the souls it takes with him are going to a better place. We'll never know who collects the Reapers..maybe they never die..

Thank You for reading. Death is not scary, but this little fellow is.
That is an awful job to have - but as they say, someone has to do it. An interesting question at the end... Good and thoughtful piece.
