A beautiful day

that's what I say

the sky is cloudy

and gonna be gray

but I am awake

and have a chance

to live another

in just a glance

my heart is full

of love and hope

the world still turns

I will not mope

Thank yous are given

and said in my head

all day I will be grateful

until I return to my bed

live my day 

sharing blessings galore

I have a gift

which I can give more

Love is my gift

I give and I get

it is a great day

on that you can bet
