Blue and Pink Poem

Blue and Pink Poem

A Poem by Pablo Cole

Blue and Pink Poem

Journeying

Back where I belong

The climax of sexual yearning

Of time on Earth contemplating

With my woman

I love

Long left

That moment ought never to be about lusting and

Not loving

O this poem is a baby girl

My lips in happy silence

O this poem is a baby boy

Bouncing, dancing

This poem is for my imaginary

Siamese twin

Loving and fighting

It's hard to

See

God

In you, like this

blue seeks pink

that's not a chess conquest

engage me and reveal

what i really need to learn

about these ways of mankind

confusing and a little too random

for my best tastes

my seed remains an enigma

as i lie naked uncherished

at this

such an age

forgot my looking

is pink seeking blue?

i could love

i could love

i could love

my heart is gray with cliched love

as i've begun to

typecast my brothers, sisters

man!

like the artist who sees beyond

blood shared

looking too far, too deep,

without a secret map

i pay my penance

a winter to suffer through

as i wait for spring

in my soul

with blind searching for meaning

beauty and truth dormant yet patient

looking for something

to

make me whole

again

i am now only ready for solitude

or death

or

manhood

it seems

this is just

my prime

under a more than just neutral sun

the lips of truth

speak of the travel of the soul
