Restoration

A Poem by Pablo Cole

an outlet for emotions instead of crime depression drips like painful rain

bored to tears alone with the stars again

i remember a sweeter time when i was in love with woman blissfully blind

now i am on the outside without need some loving to make me more kind

oh, i wanted more than i could remedy!!!

too much too violent solutions to like it to be a man

society ... demented to love it demented to hate it

one thing i can't understand:

a terrorism of pollution 9/11

the one thing we fixate on makes it the fall of man

from which i ran to be alone from

there is so much out there to live for

can you please also try to understand?

there is a paradise of love there in this life encapsulated

all we all can comprehend

that's calling us to forgiveness to illumination to take the gun out of our enemy's ' hand

to win

we are only discovering like swimming undersea

as the cosmic truth deals the hand again

give us that liberty let us off the hook let us be free so we can see

teach us to love the sky to love the heart to love the land

yes, let's learn where all this should go, man

it's the same old story in time's sands

as goodness returns, such the goodness!

O can the mind and the body and the soul and heart withstand?

over the rainbow somewhere awaits a family, a happy beach ... a worriless suntan
