Isolation Control

Isolation Control

A Poem by Pablo Cole

I S O L A T I O N  C O N T R O L

Freedom of choice

For a

Siamese twin

Good and evil and death

In creation’s mists

The message from the start

To have faith in light

    Beyond darkness

Stretching out to survive

Echoes of emotions I once had

Sound out            real

To survive our inner demons

I’m strong … enough … in my mind

Never alone really so you don’t need to

Shine their boots and toilets

Wake walk wonder

Enjoy the essence

The subtleties of the storm

Make a plan

Let’s make love to die for

I will be your love superhero

Forget every incidental war

Now I have broken the cure

You still try to tell me we are all alike

(Just like anyone)

Shame my youthfulness into

Dominating           control

O this random mess

Specific in form

For style

That one day will be long gone

Forgiveness on the celestial bridge

Daddy’s love

Knowing nothing         waits         you can learn

Having nothing       waits      you can acquire

Built this world to attain that magic splendor    purity
