TearsA Poem by Pablo ColeWho will you be When love hurts you When love blinds you Like it does Blinds you like it does All she took was my heart Cast it a stone into the river All I needed were her arms I miss her mouth to kiss Wanted And she dances And I'll love her And she loves And I'll want her Rolls with imagination Says If you die For what you are not proud The doves won't cry The rain will fall meaninglessly God unwept I will need her in the darkest hours She twice bright shines Beauty walks in her In words I am stolen In beauty I am golden Infinite solid In her eyes Don't cha baby know My enemies' desires A game of you The death of me Enveloping sorrow developing tomorrow But yet the light of Guidance The bridge To success Of freedom and folly O tree of life and family glowing Constituencies of good and truth Constellations of truth and magnificance Tree of light and imagination Bond to the above and around Knowing breaths Sacred with sorrow and light joy The bridge to The blessing of Momentary existence Unto divine transcendence Of effort and will Patient determination In the path of the answer Mystery beyond the need Of sense Wisdom Love and help Humble things Light and breath Patient to wait When your heart sings Don't ask Colors run wild In my imagination Destiny precluding Preservation Passion Time Compensation Dreams And mystery Of their own In my sleeping hours No one really hurts No one really dies My dreams allow me to dream She gives solid hope "Hey kid you are only so smart" The words © 2014 Pablo Cole |
