Lonely With Love

Lonely With Love

A Poem by Pablo Cole

I struggle for privilege

Lonely but loved

Classy if not high in class

I will heal, I will get better

When I am ready

to choose to

Pain pain pain

You can read it on my face

Rain rain rain

Wash away this pain from this place

I will survive the sorrow of myself and the world

I can feel in my heart without

The money, fame heights, without the girl

I make it through without it

{I can’t speak for another

I just look into my own soul

God can be my other

I can’t think of anything smarter

A spiritual balance and control}

But dude you don’t understand I am crazy

Because I can live a happy life

I move forward, but in the moment

If I try, I can get above the strife

          This is my story

I’ve been broken down so much

Do you know it’s hard to touch

Give love and trust

When I still can learn

But I can still give a friend my hand

   And live and love again

If I breathe I can change

If I have faith, I may one day know

I can be my hero

I can love

I can help too

I have already made it past past woes

 Stronger in my self

These are the words in my heart

I can share them with you

When the pain has run its course

Then I will stand in the sun a man forgiven
