WORDS FOR VOICES, DREAMS OF THE HEART

WORDS FOR VOICES, DREAMS OF THE HEART

A Poem by Pablo Cole

I DREAM AND SEE THE IMAGE OF A FLOWER UPON WHICH

PROMISE GROWS

I DREAM AND FEEL THE NIGHT ETERNAL

THE COLORS SURROUNDING, A MOVING PAINTING

THE WIND A CHANGING GRACE

THE BEATING HEART OF LOVE IS MAKING

MY WORDS WILL THE MUSIC OF MAN

FOR A MOMENT I BECOME SOMETHING GREATER

WITH NO EYES UPON ME

I RISE, A PHOENIX OF LIGHT

I JUST FLY WITH THE RHYTHM OF THE WIND

AND JUST DREAM AND WISH AWAY

UNTIL I KNOW IN TIME

GRADUALLY WE MEET

IN SOME FORM OF EQUALITY

UNDERSTANDIING ALL THINGS

AS TRICKY AS LOVE

AND I SEE ON YOUR FACE

YOU CAN TELL BY MY HAPPINESS THAT OUR HEARTS

WERE SO CLOSE

AND I SHALL NOT BECOME SORROW

AND I SHALL NOT BECOME SORROW

OR THE DARKNESS IN MY MIRRORED EYES

I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN

AND I SHALL WISH FOR YOUR LOVE

AGAINST ALL SORROW

AND WATCH THE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF ALL LIFE

TOUCHING THE TEAR INSIDE MY HEART
