Beauty and The Fool

Beauty and The Fool

A Poem by Pablo Cole

She was beauty

And she sang so lovely

Her heart was pure gold

Against a purple sky

And she sang:

 It's been

So long

So long

So very long

Since love

I was a fool

And I was delighted at her song

And I sang the same

And felt a painful tinge in my heart

Is's been

So long

So long

So very long

Since love

 She seduced me

Into melancholy sour

And now alone there I stay
