Human Spirit On Trial

Human Spirit On Trial

A Poem by Pablo Cole

Taken

morsel of food
morsel of hope
taken the abuse

now i will not

commit myself to a rope

the world falls apart

you take the pain

you turn it to strength

you fight to love every day

morsel of fight

learn the worth of

every

thing

create the masterpiece

change the world

change minds

faith grows

take your life in your hands

when balance is sustained

pearl of wisdom

that's worth alot

there is no way of living

without experiencing deep sorrow

depression might teach

and sadness may show beauty

in every demonstration

of the human soul

in human spirit

we testify
