Merry Christmas, Natalie

Merry Christmas, Natalie

A Poem by Pablo Cole

Merry Christmas, Natalie

Nurturing with my sensitive moments

Attentive to my direst worries with condolance

Trustworthy to the end my good friend true

Alive with inspiration to lend through

Listening with a heart that feels

Intelligent with a mind that's real

Elegant in state and stature

Beautiful in ways you don't manufacture

Awake to life in it's bountiful fountain

Meek with humillity, true to encounter

Brave and bodacious, even if on a whim

Unemcumbered by hate, to the top she will swim

Real and funny and special to know

Youthful and eternal, O you, Natalie, I am grateful to know

-p.s.

if love were real

friends like you and me

there would be
