Apocalyspe Strut (A Gamer's Song)

Apocalyspe Strut (A Gamer's Song)

A Poem by Pablo Cole

  1.  Apocalypse Strut
  2.          ~~~~
  3. Don't say it's impossible !
  4. Before God we lose and sin !
  5. A virus of undead vampires hunts us
  6. Guns and ammunition and hearts beating
  7. Chasing our dreams to the end  !
  8.          ~~~~
  9. When zombies stalk your town, rule your city, and its the vampires night to dine
  10. Werewolves eat your guts
  11. A weapon will be fine !
  12. We'll all fall down
  13. Into tourists in the vampires bite
  14. And veins run insane to the fury a bloody furry sight
  15.          ~~~~
  16. And so this gun is locked and loaded
  17. And this kid has got an apocalypse strut  !
  18. My apocalypse strut!
  19. I got my apocalypse strut!
  20. My apocalypse strut perseveres
  21. That's what !
  22.          ~~~~
  23. And it's: How will me get through to tomorrow ?
  24. How will we get through the frey ?
  25. The irony The world's truth- we are the world's prey
  26.          ~~~~
  27. I got my moves from comic books
  28. Hour after hour
  29. I'm your hero darling
  30. No second looks
  31. There is my trusty rifle
  32. My skill tactics my power
  33.          ~~~~
  34. I will bring to them the final blow!
  35.          ~~~~
  36. Gunpowder! Sword and axe!I
  37. t's not my imagination, dear faithful world
  38. The giant bats and bugs and sea monsters test our oneness
  39. Claims we're unevolved
  40. And all creation fears
  41. I keep telling myself
  42. You are not their food
  43.          ~~~~
  44. Day to diary I record my kills
  45. The need and dilemna
  46. The discord and the thrill
  47.          ~~~~
  48. My apocalypse strut
  49. I got my apocalypse strut
  50. I got my apocalypse strut
  51. My apocalypse strut perseveres!
  52.         ~~~~
  53. And it's "How will we get to tomorrow?!"
  54. I got my apocalpyse strut
  55. And maybe sunrise will bring a better day
