Lost Key

With every word you say

Every cynical remark

Brings me more pain

And tears me apart

 

You say you forgive me

You hold me close

You ignore my pled

That's what hurts the most

 

But you dangle that key 

The key to my heart

You're not what I need

So go ahead, leave a mark.
